We’re Joining SolarWinds!

Big news today: we’re now a part of SolarWinds. Here’s the press release, but I also wanted to unpack why this is exciting for us and, most importantly, you.

SolarWinds was founded in 1999 and they’re known for building simple, powerful, and affordable monitoring solutions for over 250,000 customers. We believe in those same principles, and that’s why we’ve made log monitoring and analytics elegant, yet simple, in the past nine years.

Logs have been around almost as long as computers, and they’re a key part of what every developer does. Making ugly log data tell its story in a beautiful way is essential to helping developers and Ops people solve problems faster, and keep those insights coming. It’s what Loggly has been about since the beginning, and SolarWinds shares that vision. Together, we offer a complete solution for observability and analytics across traces, logs, metrics, and the digital experience – something no one else can offer.

What changes for you? Nothing. You won’t need to update your account, or mess with billing settings, or use a different API.  We’re passionate about continuing to build this product with you and now, we have access to deeper resources and support to do this.
